For this blog, the first thing is notice on the Kicking World Blog was the huge picture which gives you a idea what the blog is. It’s a picture of Jason Sanders, and he was just drafted to the Miami Dolphins on April 28, 2018 with the 229th pick in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The blog then talks about his achievements before he was drafted. The website states “He’s amassed numerous accolades over his kicking career from being named to the Kicking World All-American team both in HS and College, to having the highest touchback % in all of College Football, connecting on multiple 50+ yard field goals, to setting several school records at Villa Park HS and the University of New Mexico, to hitting multiple game-winning field goals for the Lobos, and more”. The author also post a video on Jason getting drafted. The blog then goes on talk about Jason’s Pro Prospect profile of his kicking videos, photos, career stats, as well as a detailed assessment. The blog finishes up talking about how proud the kicking world is of his achievement.

This next blog is another kicking blog Matt McCrane signed with the Arizona Cardinals in free agency just a few minutes after 2018 draft. This blog also uses a big picture to catch the eye of the reader. They go on to talk about the credentials he achieved during his years before the draft. The blog states “he finished his collegiate football career breaking multiple school records, including career made field goals. In his redshirt freshman season, Matt led the nation in Field Goal percentage – 94.7% (19/20), good enough to put him on the USA Today Freshman All-America Team.” It was clear he had lots of talent before he got to the league it was just a matter of time before he was drafted. At the end of the blog The Kicking World wishes Matt McCrane good luck in his seasons to come.

The last kicking blog I will break down is “Tips for Kickers and Punters Dealing with Wet/Rainy/Cold Weather”. For this blog they too begin with a picture to attract the audience in. They bring up being cautious with your plant foot to prevent from slipping its better to land flat footed supposed to on your heal like normal. The blog then talks about how you should stay warm and  keep a rain hacked to prevent anything from freezing. They finish up with saying you need to just think positive so you get positive results. It also gives you a ling for more drills.
