The 360 Wave Process and The Life & Lessons of A Waver Pt. 4

Me being a veteran waver I can miss a day or two and it will set me back just a little. The two deadly sin in the wave game are sleeping without a durag and having your durag on too tight cutting off your blood flow. Wearing more than two durags its overkill and that will cause hair loss as well. I see people wearing five and six durags at a time. Over the years you would slowly see their hair like go back. This is because they cut off the blood flow. The last step is wolfing which means to wait a week or more past your normal haircut length. Wolfing and waves go together like working out and eating. If you do one without the other, it won’t matter. You’re essentially growing your hair out to its max curl length. Wolfing is getting your hair cut past your normal haircut length. Most people curl length takes two weeks. Consistently brushing and wolfing 3,4, 5, and then six weeks. By doing this you are training your curls to lay down.

There are there different kinds of people who wave but not talking about the hair texture. The first one is the OG waver. Your OG waver will always brushes stay on top of their waves no excuses given. Your second waver is your sometimes waver. He or she will brush when they can but put other things above. And your last one is your hype waver. This person only brushes when he or she sees someone’s waves, or it is brought up in a conversation. This same thing applys to life. There are go getters, people who do what they can, and people who just talk about it and give excuses. My football coach in high school would always say “Excuses are like ass holes, everyone has one and normally they stank.” Waves has shown me that some have excuses and others have results.

In conclusion if you’re not consistent your progress will take longer and instead of getting waves in two months, it will take four because you’re not being constant. This process has shown me how in life with consistence and hard work you will succeed. Establishing a daily routine like applying oil, then hard brush, next apply moisturizer followed by medium brush, last you soft brush then rag up. This process should take two months of consistent work using the products and applying it every day. Getting waves is growing your hair out to its curl length, laying it down and trained it to go in the same direction. Like working out and staying on top of your grades, this process in not going to take a day or two. It takes months and years of hard work to get what you want. Getting waves and applying this method has open my eyes the to a broader perspective in life. If it was easy everybody would do it.
